Services for those with ASD and other special needs Services for those with ASD and other special needs

Our Services

We offer services that promote independence and work toward decreasing the need for future support. Maplegrove is able to provide effective services by addressing social, communication, and executive functioning needs.

Daily Living Skills Programs

Participants learn daily living skills through one of our center-based programs. We work together to learn skills and apply them to the natural environment, preparing or participants for independent or supported independent living. Participants attend 3 to 5 days a week (with flexible scheduling options). We focus on:

  • Learning independent living skills
  • Developing relationships
  • Creating meaningful life experiences

Monday-Friday 9am to 3pm

Supported Employment

Maplegrove provides ongoing support services for those who are currently employed or are seeking employment in the community. Our philosophy is to build off of the natural supports available from the employer, then assess evidence-based practices that can be put in place to ensure success.

Supported Living

We apply our expertise in the field to supply safety, security, and support. Our goal is to give our participants an opportunity to live more independently and become a part of their community.

  • Time Management
  • Organization
  • Task Initiation
  • Goal-Directed Persistence
  • Sustained Attention

Counseling/Therapy

We use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to increase personal effectiveness through rational-emotive imagery, communication skill training, and other exercises.

We also provide counseling to those who may need help with depression, anxiety, or other mental health issues affecting their emotional functioning.
